A day of drama for the PBC UK picklers down south...

Poor Sabrina injured her ankle on the first mixed doubles match, and had to withdraw from the tournament. Several ice baths and hot treatments later and she is unable to partner Louise Laville, the UK no 1 tomorrow :( However, Ive been asked to fill in (maybe they couldnt get anyone else 😂 but I will try my best 🤞)

Andrew ended up filling in for someone who had to leave in the mixed, Ewan and Jason played several mens doubles round robins which they enjoyed, and Les was pleased to win some matches with a lovely girl he had never met before....

Meanwhile Nathan and I battled our way to the mixed doubles 4.0 plus semi finals against some of best picklers in the country. We lost to Thaddea Locke (no 1 in UK and partner) 5-15 (not bad) and ended up with Bronze medal for PBC UK....and all cheered on by Julie and also James who arrived this evening.

Dont ask about the holiday inn 😂😂
