Singles day - winning Wednesday 🥇🥇

So many thrilling semi finals & bronze medal matches to watch from our members today. Such close scores eg 16-14 in the third set for Paula to gain a bronze and a sterling performance from Sue Pennington to win her second gold of the tournament ! She's now known as Super Sue! 🎉

Well done to Jas playing for the first time on centre court and for coming 4th in the pro level singles group, despite injuries. A great win against a PPL player too 🎉

Hard luck to Paul Rogers and to Jayne Knight who just missed out on bronze by just a couple of points in 3 set hard fought games.

Great to see players taking on board advice between matches and improving their performance together with great encourgement by our pickleball central uk family on the sidelines!

Thank you everyone for coming today, it really made a big difference to our players who gave 110 percent!

Another FANTASIC day of play for the (sadly) last day of the Tournement. Once again everyone showed their amazing skills on the courts. I am in awe! There were some very tough, long rallies/matches going on, where you all found the stamina I don't know! We truly have the most amazing, talented members! I'm so proud of you all 😃👏 WELL DONE!!! 🥳🥉🥈🥇🎉

Awesome work everyone and deep respect for all those singles players, who are able to run around court and drive the ball whilst running. Incredible athleticism indeed. Super Sue wasn’t confident about her chances and still got the gold! The Midlands region did very well in the English Open. 👏👏
