So Nationals over, but still fresh in our minds. It's now an important time to perhaps reflect on your own play and really think what you need to work on going forward. Where did I struggle most on court? When was I forced to make errors? In what circumstance or with what shots? If we can try and identify at least a few things ourselves its an amazing start to becoming a better player. We will all have a different list to develop. Make a list of areas to work on and also what yr strengths are. Ask your doubles partners to help you identify areas- you are a team! Be kind to ourselves by also recognising we ARE good at some things already! ❤️
For those who couldnt make Nationals or didnt feel ready, everytime you rec play pick perhaps one thing to focus on improving...and if you dont know how to work on that aspect just ask! Im here to help & support everyone no matter your level.
Many thanks for your post Fe. After writing down a wishlist of things I want to improve after each tournament, I find it tough to decide in what order to work on them.
Another challenge for me is identifying the known unknowns: what other ppl notice about my playing that I’m unaware of esp during a point.
