Some of you may know that we will be making the transition away from using Wix spaces for PBC UK sessions at Shrewsbury, Wrekin, Newport venues and onto the spond system instead.

There are various reasons for this, and a lot of good benefits for everyone going forward.

Main benefits will be:

• You can see which other members have booked in for sessions 👏 a feature we have been lacking with the spaces app.

• We will be able to retain the notices feature (which was due to disappear from the spaces app)

• You can easily chat to other members 🙌 either individually or in a small group via spond without anyone having access to your phone number - by puting settings to private if you wish. You can see names of all the other members.

• The functionality with spond should be better - sometimes spaces wouldnt work or crash.

• You can pay for sessions securely using spond software.

From October 1st PBC UK sessions will be on Spond. To get ready for this transition we are inviting you all TODAY to please join the new spond group!

Membership for everyone in PBC UK will be £30 per 6 months:

1st October-31st March

1st April - 30th September.

If you have already renewed earlier this year dont worry, we will work out your individual accounts and let you know if you will owe anything or not (due to change from the previous individual annual membership structure).

We hope this will simplify the system and also reduce the outlay for being part of the group ie £5 a month will cover replacement of balls, your PbE club insurance, replacement of equipment /lines, demo paddles, website costs, CPD of our coaches etc.

WM PICKLEBALL & ACADEMY

We are already using Spond for the West Midlands Academy and that same Spond will also be used for all the events in the West Midlands we run that are open to non-members.
