With the sport of pickleball continuing to grow at a rapid rate across the UK it is important (in our opinion) that our association and now national body -Pickleball England - is able to track who is playing and where, as well as each player who is a member of a group should contributing £ in a small way to the sport as a whole. Not only players who compete at events that Pickleball England run, but EVERYONE who plays - just like in other sports (tennis, football, netball, badminton). A donation of £1 per player per year direct to Pickleball England would make a huge difference to the organisation, which at the moment is largely having to be run on a voluntary basis. The funds raised to be shown clearly by pbE where they have gone - to satisfy the support of all the players.
Currently it is free to join our association and as a consequence not all players have been bothered to do this. We feel the proposal above will help transform pbE and give them the means to provide even more growth for schools, training, building facilities, supporting new clubs etc etc
If you agree with our proposal please click yes so we can go back to pbE with a positive message of our support!
THANK YOU ❤️

I’ve often wondered how pickleball England can keep going without funds from players - I’d pay more than £1.
Please ignore my no vote! Pressed the wrong button! 😂 of course it’s a yes! Sorry
Also if they know where people are playing they can see how many members and provide support -
Maybe even pressure on local authorities to provide proper facilities!?
