Mixed results for the group today - and not much dinking was observed!! Despite this there was cheer all around with lots of PBC UK members supporting 🙌 helping the players along the way.

Too many of our players to mention today (sorry if I dont mention you) but particularly well done to the following members:

MICHAEL DE GROOT - Gold 3.0 65+ 🥇 leading the way with partner Joanne Waring

SUE PENNINGTON - reaching quarter final of 55+ 3.0 with a partner she never played with before 🎉

KEITH JONES - battling through round of 16 in the 3.0 60+ then going out at the quarter finals 🎉

NIK & JUDY SCOPES - also got through to round of 16 in the 3.0 60+ but then going out 🎉

ABI HIND & CHRIS - newest members of PBC UK (who attended their first ever coaching with Ernesto before the Open) and finished 2nd in their round robin, going out in the Round of 16 🎉 in the 55+ 3.0

ANDREW FENNELL - also playing with an unknown partner achieving 3rd in the round robin at 3.5 level.

The standard of play even at 3.0 was more like 3.5 so well done everyone. Singles tomorrow.....!
