PBC UK prides itself on being a pioneer in providing new and innovative pickleball events for all ages & abilities, some more competitive than others but always with the aim of providing a fun experience and growing the sport in our central region. Here are just a few of the events we have run over the past few years.
festivals & tournivals
1st EVER CENTRAL ENGLAND FESTIVAL, BIRMINGHAM 2023
PBC UK sell out event with 200 players from around the UK attending this festival held at Tipton Tennis Academy. 14 playing courts, coaching clinics & an exhibition pro match.
1st EVER SHROPSHIRE PICKLEBALL FESTIVAL 2023
Held at The Shrewsbury Sports Village on 8 courts indoor , 3 courts set up outdoor as well as the pickleball wall challenge! The UK Pickleball Shop provided demo paddles from all ranges.
1st EVER PICKLEBALL FESTIVAL held at telford. 2023
The first all day Telford Festival was held at Telford Langley School on 8 indoor courts.

MEMBERS MINI FESTIVALS
Mini internal member festivals at low prices, or no cost, form part of a fitting celebration of all our PBC UK achievements and as a group every year we celebrate with special prizes presented to members for their achievements.
FREE EVENTS
We provide a number of free events for members & friends of members with PBC UK during the year.
Shropshire festival's KIDS FEST, TELFORD
Family play at The Kids Festival, Telford International Centre in conjunction with Shropshire Festivals.

PICKLEBALL @ THE shrewsbury FOOD FESTIVAL
PBC UK members help introduce festival go-ers to our wonderful sport at the Food Festival in Shrewsbury's quarry park which attracts 16,000 people! Members who volunteer have free entry to the Food Festival. We have played pickleball on grass & on a fantastic dedicated purpose built platform, thanks to Evolution Foods & Knottys.
WORLD PICKLEBALL DAY
Every year Shrewsbury Sports Village kindly allow members of the public to attend a free introduction to pickleball hosted by PBC UK members, who also enjoy playing for free.

COACHING EVENTS
INVITED INTERNATIONAL COACHes
PBC UK collaborate on a regular basis and before major tournaments with european coaches to provide our members with specialist training, both in the UK and abroad. Our members have huge success at the English Opens, Nationals & other external competitions.
COACHING festivals
PBCUK coaching festivals, at various locations around the central region, run by our own level 2 coaches Fe Edwards & Sabrina Edwards, prove to be a popular offering.

COACHING CLINICS
We welcome UK coaches such as Sam Basford and level 2 master teaching professional IPTPA level 2 coach, Rob Williams to help develop our members.
developing skills home & away
We are lucky at PBC UK to have our own level 2 coaches & PBC UK ambassdors who run all our sessions to constantly offer help & advice to our members. We also travel to other clubs in the region to offer coaching clinics to develop their players.
TEAM EVENTS & internal LEAGUEs
PBC UK organise fantastic team events: small teams, large 2 team events and leagues at various locations during the year.

1st ALGARVE FESTIVAL & tournivals in portugal
PBC UK organised the first ever Algarve Pickleball festival & tournival as well as offering coaching clinics at Clube Tenis de Quarteira, Portugal. Players from all over Portugal & the UK came for this experience
TRIPS organised FOR THE European open, ANDALUCIAN & REBALLUTION CUP in rota Spain
For the last 3 years PBC UK & Pickleball Rota Club have collaborated to provide specialist pickleball holidays & tournaments. Hotel Playa da Luz was the first hotel in Spain to create dedicated pickleball courts for the use of both clubs.
PICKLEBALL PRO RETREATS
PBC UK also collaborates with Pickleball Pro Retreats, who organise pickleball packages to Fuengirola, Spain & Bali. www.pickleballproretreats.com
